Here is a checklist for how to prepare your home for “Show Ready” condition:
Outdoors…
- Be sure the entrance to your home is clean and inviting
- Keep the lawn mowed and the steps swept
- Store hoses neatly and be sure sprinklers don’t water the walkways
- Repair gates, fences, and sidewalks
Garage…
- Keep the floors clean and swept
- Store or neatly arrange tools and supplies
Bathrooms…
- Replace shower curtain if necessary
- Repair grout and caulking
- Repair running toilet or faulty plumbing
- Paint and repair cracks as needed
- Put away personal items
- Polish the floor, mirrors, and fixtures
- Hang your best towels and open a fresh bar of soap
- Freshen up with plants or flowers

- Keep the lights in working order
- Hang clothes and store shoes neatly

Kitchen…
- Clean and deodorize vents and garbage area
